We're Working On Opening The Doors

We're getting closer to opening up Ztrains for business, there is lots going on behind the scenes here in the small train world and we sincerely appreciate your patience. To keep you informed of what's going on, we've set up a Newsletter that will feature our 3 main websites: Ztrains, Raildig and Rokuhan Shorty. The Shorty site is going to be a bit of an experiment as we don't think this little powered chassis gets enough attention. You can read about this new site here: Rokuhan Shorty. We'd like to invite you to join our Mail List here below. As there will be some overlap but also lots of unique content on our 3 small train sites, we think one list make a lot of sense.

The first products up here will be our existing pieces that are now pretty much sold out at online dealers. One thing we really want to do a bit differently is to create short videos for products, even the basic cast gypsum pieces. Included in the videos will be painting and weathering tips. The reason I used the words "basic cast gypsum pieces" is that not everyone has done painting, weathering and placement of things like bridge abutments, and I think short form videos can be really useful. We want to sell, of course, but it's important to use to see people build!

I go on frequently about what a great hobby this is, and if short videos can motivate someone to do a bit of building, with our pieces as well as other makers' work, than we look at that as a big win!

For a small company like Ztrains, it can get surprisingly complicated. In the meantime we're also setting up a complimentary site focused solely on the Rokuhan Shorty, a personal favorite of ours. It's early days but you can see our thinking with this new site here: Rokuhan Shorty

We've bitten off quite a bit of work here, I know, but I also know we are just slightly mad for these trains! I appreciate your patience. As we continue our Z scale work here, if you have any questions, feel free to get in touch with us: Ztrains Contact
